Thomas Stanko is outwardly excited about the upcoming Jack-O-Lantern 5k run/walk/Skeleton Stroll 1 mile walk to benefit his local Canonsburg, Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan, Dollars For Scholars in Canonsburg, PA.  The run will help to raise much needed funds for the philanthropic organization which aims to make scholarships available for hard working and deserving students in the Canon-McMillan senior class to apply towards higher education needs.  The event which takes place on October 26th, 2013 will bring the community together for a great common goal.  Event participants will receive a goody bag upon completion.  This bag will be filled with all sorts of freebies and promotional items such as socks, t-shirts and water bottles.  This Kansas City blog spoke with Mr. Stanko about his decision making process when it came to choosing one of the nations leading wholesale cotton muslin bag dealers.

indexThomas told us that he simply did a Google search for muslin bags and evaluated his options.  He choose State Line Bag Co. because of their affordable price and selection.  Price was a big factor in his choice making since he was ultimately working towards fundraising for charity.  He was initially thrilled about the quick response and care the State Line Bag Co. exhibited.  Although Thomas hasn’t gotten to use the bags for Jack-O-Lantern run/walk, he is “extremely happy” with the appearance and quality of the cotton drawstring bags he received from the Kansas City company.  He is also looking forward to seeing the bags he purchased for the event to be used all around his town after the race is over.  He loves the idea of businesses having reusable bags with their logos printed on them because it’s an opportunity for them to get free advertisement wherever the bags are used.

We commend the fundraising efforts of Mr. Stanko and all those involved in the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan Dollars For Scholars program.  They are working hard for a truly great organization aimed at making a substantial and long term difference in their community.  To register or make a charitable donation to the Dollars For Scholars organization check out the link below.
