The Elks are a fraternity that inculcates the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members, and to provide for its government & serve the people and communities through benevolent programs demonstrating that they share and care. The Elk Lodge in Monterey, CA is doing more than just caring for the youth and minds of America, but also the environment.
We spoke with Jacqueline Busby regarding their small but big-impact change they recently had in their Lodge’s kitchen. They switched to a food scrap collector system, instead of continuing to use their garbage disposal. They switched from the expensive and time consuming typical restaurant garbage disposal to a more economic and thought free food scrap collector. The Drain Strainer has been a part of their system for a while now, with a daily cleaning and no worries of it breaking any time soon, it is safe to say that our Elks are very satisfied with this product.
“It does exactly what we thought it would do at the time of purchase” -Jacqueline Busby
They have not had any problems with this simple system, and their regular plumbers installed it for them with nothing to say but how easy it was to install and the convenient design and ease of use. They actually ordered two but are only using one and keeping the second around to use sometime soon.
The Elks society has evolved into a major American fraternal, charitable and service oriented order, with more than a million member, both men and women throughout the united states. They have Lodges across all of the continental U.S. and are always accepting new members.
