When Susan Harwell of the Sanctuary Church in Jenks, Oklahoma called the State Line Bag Co. she was initially impressed by the exceptional customer service. When Blogger Local spoke with her about her experience with the Leawood wholesale muslin bag company, she explained that they were “super helpful and answered all of my questions”. Susan is the church’s children’s pastor and hospitality director, as well as being a mother of 5. She found the State Line Bag Co. through a simple web search and decided to call in the order in person. When we spoke with her she said she was initially surprised about the great service and how quick her order shipped out.
We found out that the Oklahoma church is using State Line Bag Co’s products in a different way than most of it’s customer base. Sanctuary takes the cotton drawstring bags and turn them into care packages for the homeless community in their area. The bags are filled with snacks, buss passes, a small amount of cash, water and a granola bar. They also make sure to include pamphlets on charitable organizations and resources the disadvantaged people can turn to for assistance. Susan explained that the church members contribute items to put in the bags as well money to finance the purchase of the bags and supplies. She told me that often families will sponsor bags or members will grab a couple of bags for the road so that should the opportunity arise, they can help someone in need.

Besides using the bags for charitable means, Sanctuary Church will also be using State Line Bag Co’s products as goody bags for their upcoming women’s retreat on November 8th & 9th. We commend the efforts of the Sanctuary Church in making a difference for their community. For more info on the Sanctuary Church visit their website.
