You should not have to sacrifice style due to high markups, and our friends down at Big Creek Antique Mall in Kansas CIty understand that.  Here at Blogger Local we are all about finding you Kansas City’s best kept secrets; so we headed over to Big Creek, to get to know them a little better and find you the best deal on those one-of-a-kind pieces you’ve been looking for.

Steve Compton of Lake Winnebago Mo opened Big Creek Antique Mall on June  22nd in the former location of Perazellis Italian Restaurant at 509 West Main street Greenwood Mo. The lighting inside the building makes you feel like you are walking through your grandma’s home, with the light hitting some pieces just right for you to want to sit and read for hours.

Sitting in one of these Victorian Parlor Chairs will make you feel like you are in London sipping tea with Queen Victoria.  The dark wood, and the colorful cushions, give these chairs the pop they need to call attention where ever they are placed.  Their smooth finish, and ornate carvings give these chairs the look of riches, but cringe not my friends these beauties are a steal!

We also found a Victorian Marble-top Hutch, that would look fabulous in a guest bedroom or as a key Foyer piece.  This lovely find is all original, has great lower storage space, and with its dark woods and ornate carvings is sure to give you a classic look.

Personally, my favorite would have to be the Hoosier Style cabinet.  Since the 1920s these beautifully designed cabinets have become a staple of the American kitchen, a timeless piece that is sure to give your kitchen the look you want it to have and a great spot to vogue-ly store your kitchen essentials.
