For those of you Harley-Davidson fans out there, you may have already been to the Rawhide Harley-Davidson Olathe location and for some of you may have not had the chance to visit the Kansas City area’s largest authorized dealer. With over 500 bikes in stock at any given time, there selection is always dynamic. I met up with Motorcycle Fit Specialist Geoffrey Gates to take a look at some of the more unique models they had in stock currently.
The first bike we checked out was 2007 CVO Springer. This custom bike is built around a 110 cubic inch engine that is exclusively part of the CVO series. This bike has a ton of detailed chrome and looks like it was born to raise hell. We really would like to see this thing in a burnout competition!
The second bike we got to lay eyes on was a 2012 CVO Road Glide. This bad boy is made for cruising and looks like it runs smooth on the open road. The bike features a twin cam, 11o inch cubic engine nestled inside of its’ curvacious outer body. Pack your bags and pick this one up for your cross country rally.
The third and final Rawhide Harley-Davidson bike we checked out could have been straight out of a museum. At 30 years old, the 1983 FLH looks as if it just rolled in off the factory floor. The bike only has 22,000 miles logged on the 80 cubic inch Shovelhead engine. This a truly one of a kind find for any Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
These are just some of the gems you can find if you head on over to the Rawhide Harley-Davidson Olathe location. Rawhide is also participating in the annual March Of Dimes Bikers For Babies fundraising event. Head on down tonight (Thursday September 19th) to pre-register for the September 22nd ride. Rawhide will featuring live music, free beer, prizes and will be hosting a burnout contest to get people involved in the Bikers For Babies event. Stop by and check out the unique bikes featured in this post and enjoy a free while you do it.
