Scheels_#1The new Overland Park sporting goods store will open it’s doors in June of 2015.  Scheels will hire about 400 hundred people locally to staff the giant store.  Some of the attractions that visitors can expect are listed below.

65ft 16 Car Ferris Wheel

16,000 Gallon Aquarium

Various Sport Simulators

Indoor Shooting Ranges

Gunsmith Workshops

The 26th location in the Scheels family, will also host a variety of homemade treats including Gelato and fudge.  You can expect big things from this store and rightfully so, their Reno, Nevada store is the largest sports store in the world currently.  Scheels also believes in giving back to the community that supports them.  That is why they work with local charities to donate 8% of their profits to those organizations in need.  Scheels only opens one store a year, so they are fully focused on their new development.  The Overland Park sporting goods store will be in the process of hiring soon, so make sure to get in contact with them if you are interested in joining their team.
