Read MoreLocal area members of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, members of the Fogelman Managment Group and residents of Overland Park’s The Ridge Apartments, all showed up on Tuesday (25th) to celebrate the grand re-opening of the apartment complex under new management. The crowd gathered over drinks and refreshments as they mingled in the newly renovated clubhouse that looks out over the sun drenched patio surrounding the pool. Once the ribbon was cut and the applause led into more socializing, I sat down over some appetizers with one long time resident of the Overland Park apartment complex, Jean Brogan. Brogan who is an independent contractor in the medical industry, was happy to tell me about her experience at The Ridge.
She explained to me that over the last couple of years the apartment complex had gone through a couple different management groups. She stressed that they were generally unresponsive to her needs or seemed to be uninterested in her welfare as a tenant. She went on to tell me about how the transition to the Fogelman Management Group had drastically improved her overall experience at The Ridge.
“Since Fogelman managed, the experience is light years better.”
She noted that she had felt a drastic increase in the overall quality of the service she had received from new management group.
“They are fair and work with you, they are very kind.”
Jean also informed me that due to a recent condition her mobility had decreased considerably and she was having trouble navigating the stairs in her current apartment. Jean thought that this meant she would have to move some where that would be less of an issue for her mobility. She told me she turned in her notice to move but the Fogelman team asked her to reconsider. The team wanted to see if they could find any other option within the complex. The Ridge management is currently trying get her into a bottom level apartment with less stairs to navigate so she doesn’t have to leave the community she has become a part of.
Jean seemed genuinely appreciative of all the strides the Fogelman Management Group had made since they took over the Overland Park Apartment Complex. It was good to chat with her and hear of her experience because for every Jean out there it seems that there are a 100 people with the opposite experience. If you are looking for an exceptional apartment complex managed by a first rate team, check out the Fogelman Group’s, Overland Park apartment complex. Congratulations to the Fogelman Group for 50 years of service!
