logo.gifMidwest Computer Associates, has been acquired by KC Computer Support. The Kansas City Computer Repair giant that has been providing or city with computer cares since the 80s is now under new management. After a successful twenty some years, Midwest Computer Associates was absorbed by a new up and coming computer tech company that is sure to bring all of the latest technology and knowledge to our great city.

Now on its third buy out, KC Computer Support has been quickly growing into a company with most specified efforts and a growing client list involving small businesses in Kansas City. With a small staff of eight, KC Computer Support can really focus its efforts on what the company was started, the needs of small businesses. Tom Noon, founder and president of KC Computer Support was a police office for six years before venturing into the computer business in 2008. His interest was skipped she he realized that forms were being made with a typewriter, and he began to codify everything on the computer for the police station. After this he came to a realization that most tech companies were only affordable to larger companies with larger budgets, and he wanted to bring those services down and make them available to small companies.

Tom and his crew’s personalized ways make every interaction between them and their customers a very pleasant one, while also using English to explain what is wrong with your computer.

After winning various awards, including two of Angie’s List Super Service Awards, and being recognized as a “Small Business Success” by Mayor Mark Funkhouser Tom decided that he would expand even further by 2014. Besides making business owners’ lives easier through his convenient in-store service and wireless monitoring off-site, they are helping home and home-offices with all of their issues, through their in-home visits. With five members which are certified as a Microsoft Small Business Specialist they offer the latest technology and knowledge at affordable prices to small businesses.

With the GFI system they are able to monitor businesses systems from their headquarters no matter where the business is located. With this wireless monitoring system they are able to detect any glitches and fix them before they become problems that could potentially stop or slow down your business. Updates are done overnight so no time is lost manually downloading and setting them up and that way you are ensured the latext update at all times. An antivirus is also included and that way KC Computer Support gets notified immediately if there are any malwares embedded on any files.

Midwest Computer Associates still exists, it is just under the umbrella of KC Computer Support. For more information or if you have any questions regarding this merger, or KC Computer Support’s products or services, do not hesitate to contact them at (913) 541-0001 or visit their website www.kccomputersupport.com
