Read MoreAhh…. fall. The colours, the smells, the tastes. We all look forward to this time of the year. Kids get lots of candy and we get lots of spices. Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Lighting Ceremonies!! Fall brings nothing but joy and hope for new beginnings. My favorite? The flavors Latte Land has to offer during this season. Kansas City’s best local coffeehouse has been providing the metro area and beyond, with the best coffeehouse experience since 1992. They only roast the highest quality coffee beans and roast them in small batches, then turn them over to their award winning baristas and the result is the best Latte in Kansas City.
With six locations around Kansas City, including two on the Plaza there is no excuse for not trying on of their delectable drinks. Their Maple Pumpkin Latte is my fall favorite and is no the menu at every location. This delicious beverage consists of real baked pumpkin and maple syrup. These ingredients help to create a lovely latte, topped with house-made whip cream and freshly grated nutmeg. The Maple Pumpkin sauce is prepared by their bakers out of the 79th and State Line location and then delivered to all locations several times a week. This paste is fresh pumpkin and real maple syrup so the taste cannot be beat.
In a few weeks they are preparing for the roll-out of the Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte. This drink is the perfect transition into cold winter days with a combinations of flavors that are perfect for winter. It is a classic combinations of brown sugar and rosemary that lends themselves perfectly to steamed milk and their espresso 700. This simple syrup in created by our baristas in all our locations as needed. At some location they also offer some made in-house delicacies, such as Pumpkin Bread, Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Sunflower Zucchini Bread, Gooey Butter cake, and hand crafted yogurt parfaits. These locations include Briarcliff Village, Zona Rosa, and State Line.
Since their beginning in 1992, Latte Land has strived to and succeeded at serving the best coffee & tea in Kansas City. And five years ago they found what they were looking for not too far away in St. Louis. Kaldis, the St. Louis Original roasting facility specializes in sourcing and roasting the finest coffees in the world and helping customers brew them to their ultimate potential. Their Tea comes from Rishi Tea. Rishi Tea offers the highest quality organic and Fair Trade Certified loose leaf teas, fresh each season and direct from tea gardens around the world. Rishi’s direct relationship with their tea farmers, allows for exclusive teas and offers unmatched levels of freshness.
Latte Land is dedicated to its success through continuous improvement, exceptional service, and adaptability. Whether winning barista competitions, traveling to far-away coffee farms or sharing a French Press with friends, their mission remains the same – create memorable coffee experiences. Sticking true to their company values of passion, respect, continual improvement, fun, leadership, openness, ownership, and humility Latte Land will be absorbed by Kaldi’s coffee and will be rebranded as such.
Expect the same level of service, flavor, and quality whether it be Latte Land or Kaldis, so do not be discouraged from visiting them after the first of the year when the name change occurs. As for us, we will continue to sip on our Pumpkin Maple Lattes until Christmas arrives. Mmm Mmm Mmm I will never get enough pumpkin.
