High Prairie Landscape Group was founded in 2010 by Robyn Schmitz when she discovered a need to improve existing landscape standards in the city. In addition to their portfolio, Schmitz has spoken to and consulted with the following communities: Hallbrook Farms, Lloch Lloyd, and Cedar Creek. Schmitz has been recognized as an educator amongst her peers speaking at industry events and at Kansas State University. In the fall of 2016, K-State has chosen Schmitz to produce a series of webinars about increasing industry professionalism.

Their process begins with an in-depth consultation that includes a “getting to know you” interview, site grading analysis, and soil testing. Upon the completion of the consultation, clients will be able to choose how to proceed. The goal is to truly get to know clients and then educate them about possible options.
